Dunno Dun Dunnn Dunnnn! Ladies and Gentleman, we have a winner:

Azusa Pacific University (SD location)

I will begin the ELMSN-NP program January 9, 2016! I have orientation next week! I am so nervous, excited, and everything in between. I have been working on the laundry list of items I need to finish before classes start (immunizations, training classes, CPR, supplies, etc.) I have been a mad woman hawking over every rental outlet to find a place I can move into the first week of January. So much is happening, so fast 😭😭

I was not accepted to USF’s ELMSN program, but that’s okay because it would have been for CNL. I want to be a NP. I was accepted to Samuel Merritt’s ELMSN- CM program, but declined because again after much thought I realized my main goal is to be a NP. I have moved down on the waitlist to #6 for Samuel Merritt’s ELMSN-NP program, but I doubt there will be more movement. As much as I would have liked to be close to friends, family, my dog, and my boyfriend, everything happens for a reason. I wholeheartedly believe that.

I willing moving to SD and living ON MY OWN! I am excited for this new chapter, but scared as hell. I don’t know what is in store for me, but I know a lot is going to happen in the next 4 years. If you’re finding yourself in a similar situation, remember the end goal. You have to keep your main objective in sight to get you through the more difficult parts of the journey. It would have been easier for me to settle for a different program to stay in the comfort of my current surroundings.

I cannot improve without changing and I cannot change without leaving my comfort zone.

I beg of you to not hold yourself back. It is scary, but I know it will be worth.

Have faith. Have faith in yourself. Have faith in your vision. Your future awaits.
